The tour begins with your arrival in Kathmandu, the capital city and the starting point of most popular trekking packages towards far-eastern Nepal. You will be picked up from Tribhuvan International Airport and transferred to the hotel by our representative. You will enjoy a warm welcome with delicious Nepali cuisine. Begins with a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Bhadrapur, offering stunning aerial views of eastern Nepal. Upon arrival, embark on a picturesque drive through the tea gardens and rolling hills of Ilam, heading toward Dobato. The journey takes you deep into the heart of red panda territory. By evening, you'll arrive at the Dobato Home-stay, where warm local hospitality and breathtaking natural surroundings welcome you to this peaceful Himalayan village.

After breakfast, we'll explore the forest in search of red pandas and birds. Because it is difficult to see the Red Panda, we need also bring a local guide. Numerous bird species can only be found in the tropical temperate forests of Nepal's Far East. Such bird species are only acknowledged as part of the small number of birds that are unique to this area. So, we'll spend the night in a local guest house this evening.

This day also after breakfast, we'll explore the forest in search of red pandas and birds. Today, our sole focus is on the elusive Red panda. With its vibrant red fur and distinctive markings, this fascinating creature captivates the hearts of many wildlife enthusiasts. As we venture into its natural habitat, we hope to observe its unique behaviors and gain a deeper understanding of this remarkable species. So, we'll spend the night in a local guest house this evening.

Today is another exciting day dedicated to exploring the lush forests of Dobate in search of the elusive red panda and the striking satyr tragopan. Accompanied by expert local guides and trackers, you’ll venture into the misty trails during the early morning and late afternoon—ideal times for wildlife sightings. With patience and a keen eye, you may witness these rare species in their natural habitat. Don’t forget your camera—this is a perfect opportunity for unforgettable wildlife photography.

After breakfast driving from Dobate in Ilam to Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve is a beautiful journey through the eastern part of Nepal. Koshi Tappu is known for its rich biodiversity and is a popular destination for birdwatching and wildlife enthusiasts.

Today our tour starts early in the morning, after breakfast. The tour begins with a four-wheel drive and boating to see wild water buffalo, waders, marsh crocodiles, and Gangetic. Also, Koshi is home to many of the rarest birds and wild buffalo. You'll enjoy a packed lunch at the river bank at some stage. After lunch, you can travel to Koshi Barrage to see birdlife and dolphins in fresh water.

Koshi Tappu is home to over 485 bird species, including critically endangered species such as Bengal Florican, Water-cock, Indian Nightjar, Dusky Eagle-owl, etc. You will return to your hotel after a long bird-watching ride for the whole day.

Driving from Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve to Chitwan National Park is a scenic journey that takes you from the eastern part of Nepal to the central region. Chitwan National Park is renowned for its rich biodiversity and is a popular destination for wildlife enthusiasts.

Nature walks on foot to meet the weather and morning birds after an early meal. Have a full-day birding trip in the park's diverse habitats, from farmland to wetlands to the Sal Forest. Within the dense forest, we can have a jungle safari experience with these kinds of varieties of birds. Over 500 species can be identified, including several duck relatives, Indian Roller, Stork-billed Kingfishers, Black Francolin, Asian Paradise Flycatcher, Bee-eaters, Cormorants, Woodpecker varieties, etc.

Continue your bird-watching tour in Chitwan National Park after an early breakfast. With other threatened species, such as the one-horned rhino and royal Bengal tiger, the location is a sanctuary. The large park occupies 932 sq. kilometers and is the habitat of a globally threatened bird species in Nepal. Besides the usual ecosystems, many threatened bird species frequent the park throughout spring and fall.

You will see Lesser Whistling Duck, Cormorants, Darter, Cotton Pygmy Goose, Cinnamon Bittern, Black-crowned Night, Ruddy-breasted Crake, Purple Herons, Lesser Adjutant Storks, Asian Openbill, Woolly-necked Storks, Brown Crake, Purple Gallinule, Bronze-winged Jacana etc. This year we were also able to record the brown-cheeked rail or eastern water rail (Rallus indicus) for the first time in Chitwan National Park.

Driving back to Kathmandu from Chitwan is a journey that takes you from the central region of Nepal back to the capital city. Once you arrive in Kathmandu, you can explore the city's cultural and historical attractions, as well as enjoy its vibrant atmosphere and cuisine.
